These terms cover your use of Hey Poppy. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information and is incorporated into these Terms.
Hey Poppy is a tool that lets a host create a signup link, collect RSVPs and guest details, manage a roster and waitlist, and keep an address book of the people they invite. Guests can respond to a host's link without an account.
Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 to create a Hey Poppy account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission of a parent or guardian.
As a host, you decide what to ask your guests and how their information is used. You're responsible for handling that information appropriately, for getting any consent required in your area, and for the content of messages you send. Guests' information you collect is yours to steward, not ours to exploit.
Hey Poppy does not process payments or move money. Any cost shown, and any Venmo or Zelle handle, is a convenience so guests can pay the host directly. Payment, refunds, and disputes are strictly between the host and their guests. Hey Poppy is not a party to those transactions and does not guarantee payment, refunds, delivery of goods or services, or the outcome of any event.
Some features use AI to draft event details, messages, or summaries. These are suggestions — review them before you use or send them. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not fit your situation. You're responsible for what you publish and send.
You keep ownership of the event details, guest information, messages, notes, contacts, and other content you add to Hey Poppy. You give Hey Poppy permission to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Hey Poppy's app, software, brand, design, text, graphics, and other materials belong to Hey Poppy or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the service except as allowed by these Terms or by law.
Hey Poppy is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We're building actively and may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may also update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hey Poppy and its makers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Hey Poppy is a coordination tool; it is not responsible for the conduct of hosts or guests, payment disputes, refunds, event cancellations, goods or services provided by a host or guest, or for events themselves.
You may stop using Hey Poppy at any time and use Delete account in the app, or contact us for help deleting your account. We may suspend or end access that violates these terms or harms other people or the service.
